The Sleepless In Central Oregon event is quickly approaching. We met today and finalized some of the details. Everything is in place, and some of us are working hard to make this an evening that will change the way many people see their community. I had asked for other ideas for music and speakers, but have gotten little response on that. It would be really nice to have a variety. Some of us are using the pledge sheets to raise funds for the organizations that provide shelter. This is still an opportunity for you to raise funds. The press release went out today. We have had tremendous interest in this event. There will be many of our supporters, volunteers, and our staff who will be sleeping out in support of bringing awareness to the homeless crisis in our community.
